As is already the case with TFSAs, Investia must now report to the Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”) the market value as at December 31 of all registered plans, including those in which no withdrawal was made during the course of the year.

Good news! Following a recent update of the Univeris system, please take note that High Interest Savings Account (“HISA”) Fund Fact Sheets are now available in Univeris under the “Fund Facts” section, whereas before they were not available at all in the database. This should make the document sharing process easier for you and your clients who hold these types of accounts.
