Reminder – 2024 Annual Review of Professional Activities (“ARPA”) Questionnaire

We remind you that the “Annual Review of Professional Activities” (“ARPA”) questionnaire is available on the Investia Advisor Centre and must be completed and submitted by April 30, 2025.

The mandatory ARPA questionnaire serves the following two objectives: 

  • Ensures that your National Registration Database (“NRD”) records remain up to date and accessible for the applicable provincial securities commissions and CIRO.

  • Allows us to gain a better understanding of your practice in order to tailor our support initiatives to better meet your needs. The questionnaire includes questions on growth, business and succession planning, as well as IT and cybersecurity.

To access the ARPA questionnaire, please log into the Investia Advisor Centre and click on the “ARPA Survey” icon on the home page:

Important considerations

  • The questionnaire covers the period from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 and must be completed by all registered individuals (Representatives, Branch Managers, Alternate Branch Managers, Associate Advisors, Junior Advisors and Licensed Assistants), with or without a book of business, with the exception of those who joined Investia after September 30, 2024.

  • You must complete the questionnaire using your own primary representative code. Note that licensed assistants have their own primary codes. When completing the questionnaire, if you don’t see your name, it means you selected the wrong representative code. Please reach out to arpa@investia.ca for further guidance.

  • All required documents, including Outside Activity Approval Forms must be sent to Investia at arpa@investia.ca for review by April 30, 2025.

  • After completing the questionnaire, you can request a copy of your answers by email. Please note that once the questionnaire is submitted, you will no longer be able to access it.

    IMPORTANT

    Failing to submit your questionnaire by April 30, 2025, may result in a penalty being charged.


    As a reminder, if your user access to the Advisor Centre is inactive, you can reactivate the status by contacting Client Services.
