Due to recent technological and legal changes, the following documents have been updated accordingly:

• Order Instruction Forms for Systematic Withdrawals (F51-326A for nominee accounts and F51-394A for client-name accounts*); and
  
  
• Administrative Procedures #34 and #34A related to automatic withdrawal deposits (AWDs) (for client-name/intermediary and nominee accounts, respectively).

Amended versions will be available effective tomorrow, Friday, December 13.

* You can find the version number of each form on the bottom right corner of the document.

Procedures

• Adjustments have been made to reflect changes in Quebec where clients aged 55 or over will have no withdrawal limits starting January 1, 2025. This was also mentioned in the November 28, 2024 communication about the new Quebec LIF rules.
  
  
• As per Univeris version 24.5, AWDs with proportional allocation are now possible in plans containing U.S. currency funds. However, the system will only apply proportional allocation to funds in Canadian currency leaving US currency funds untouched.
  
  

Form reorganization 

• The order of the various sections in form F51-326A for nominee accounts has been reorganized.
• A reference has been added regarding the absence of maximums for clients with Quebec-regulated LIFs aged 55 or over (both on the F51-394A and F51-326A instruction forms).
  
  

Important considerations

• As a reminder, valid banking information that meets Investia’s requirements (ref. Administrative Procedure #63 – Addition or Change of Banking Information) must always be entered in the client’s profile in Univeris before submitting the AWD request.
  
  
• Although previous versions of the AWD forms will be accepted for a few weeks, AWD applications must meet the new requirements mentioned above.
  
  
• Effective January 31, 2025, any version of the AWD form prior to 24-11 will be rejected, and the request will need to be resubmitted on the current version, even if all the required information was provided with the request.
