Good news! As discussed in our last Water Cooler session, the Advisor Centre’s managing client banking information section has been enhanced with a new automated character recognition tool.
This tool will ensure data quality and minimizes entry errors by reading banking details from void cheques and directly inputting them into the Univeris system.
If the information is accurate, it will be instantly available for transactions, and you’ll receive a confirmation message. However, if the data doesn’t meet certain criteria, you’ll be notified that it required head office review for approval.
The upgraded tool will be available starting the week of November 25. Administrative Procedure #63 – Adding or Change of Banking Information has been updated accordingly and will be available on the Advisor Centre simultaneously.
