We are pleased to announce that 3 new processes have been added to the Business Tracker tool to facilitate the ability for you to view the status of these types of requests.
New Processes
Estates – For estates, you will be able to track requests based on the type of account, if it is a registered plan vs. a non-registered plan. The due date will be calculated based on the trade date (T) + 15 and you will see the requests sent to head office with any updates made since October 22, 2024.
Other Trades – Any trade sent in for processing which cannot be processed by the advisor/branch. You will be able to see these requests with any updates made since October 31, 2024.
Internal Transfer – Internal transfers that cannot be processed by the advisor/branch (as indicated in Administrative Procedure #51) will now be included in Business Tracker and will have an SLA of T+3, which is the maximum delay needed to complete certain types of transfers. You will be able to see these requests with any updates made since October 31, 2024.
New Enhancement
We have also introduced a new feature in the Business Tracker tool to show an accurate result of due dates depending on the status of the request. If the request goes into a status of “Additional Information Required”, we will stop the calculation of the due date and will display “On Hold” in the Business Tracker.
As soon as the required information is received by head office, the due date will be reset, and the “Due Date” column will reflect updated information.
Processing Timeline Indicators
With the addition of the above-mentioned processes in the Business Tracker tool, please be advised that the “Processing Timeline Indicators” document (screenshot below) on the Advisor Centre will not be updated going forward and this section will be removed in 2 weeks.
You will be able to monitor the statuses of various processes directly in the Business Tracker.
What Is the Business Tracker?
The Business Tracker is a “one-stop shop” for the requests you upload for processing, through the Advisor Centre, so that you can stay up to date on the progress of each request. It is updated continuously and provides an almost real-time view of your requests so that you can have more agility to react when needed.
How it Works
Simply search your request by date, rep code, client name/ID, type or status, then track its progress. The arrow on the right of the status is where you can click to access/download/print the document you uploaded for processing.
Statuses
The statuses will be refreshed every 5 minutes to ensure you remain up to date when tracking your requests. Here is an explanation of each status:
