Introduction of New Method for Adding Client Banking Information

We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding the process for Representatives adding client banking information within our system (Univeris).

In our efforts to streamline and improve our procedures, we have identified certain inefficiencies in the current method of adding client banking information. Unfortunately, many Representatives have not consistently followed the prescribed process, resulting in delays and discrepancies in the validation of banking information on file, thus resulting in operational and financial risks for Investia, Representatives and clients.

To address this issue effectively, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a new method for entering banking information. Beginning in April 2024, we will be implementing a streamlined process to ensure that banking information and void cheques are submitted simultaneously.

To achieve this, we will utilize the “Client Search” tile of the Advisor Centre to add banking information in the same manner that clients would do so through their Client Portal. This method will ensure that when banking information is added, a void cheque accompanies it, thereby eliminating the need for subsequent queries and delays in validation. Please note that the ability for clients to add banking information via the Client Portal still remains and is not changing.

The functionality to add banking information will be integrated into the Advisor Centre’s “Client Search” option:



This change will provide a seamless and efficient experience for the addition of client banking information. We understand the importance of clear communication and preparation for this transition. As we approach the launch date in April, we will provide you with additional information and support to ensure a smooth adoption of the new process.
